Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Magic Pen Pals ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are subscribing on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and have the authority to agree to these terms.

The Service

Magic Pen Pals provides a subscription-based letter delivery service. We generate personalized letters using AI technology, which are reviewed by human moderators before being printed and mailed to your child. The service includes physical letter delivery, return envelopes, and digital access through our parent dashboard.

Subscriptions & Billing

• •Subscriptions are billed monthly at $7/month per child
• •You may cancel your subscription at any time from the parent dashboard
• •Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• •Refunds are available for unshipped letters on a prorated basis
• •Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice

Content & Intellectual Property

All letter content, character designs, and pen pal personalities are the intellectual property of Magic Pen Pals. You receive a personal, non-commercial license to the letters delivered to your child. Your child's return letters remain your property; we use scanned copies only to personalize future correspondence.

Charitable Donations

$1 from each monthly subscription is donated to children's literacy and education charities. Charity selections are made at our discretion. Donation amounts and recipients are reported transparently in our quarterly impact reports and on individual parent dashboards.

Limitation of Liability

Magic Pen Pals is provided "as is." While we strive for quality and consistency, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, and occasional delays may occur due to postal service conditions. Our liability is limited to the subscription fees paid during the affected period.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
